It’s been a full on party day at the Day-centre today . We have at last been able to get Mo , 70 years and JoJo 50 years into the centre for a surprise birthday party .
To say we have had a fun day would be an understatement.
Friday morning at the day -centre garden sees the community coaches from Southend United join us for a fun session of ball skills , fitness and games .
Friday afternoon karaoke is back at the day-centre .
What a way to celebrate this party day for Mo and JoJo by bringing back the Friday afternoon karaoke session . When Matt sings “it’s only words” everyone stops and listens , and no wonder , it’s very touching . Right , let the party continue and make some noise .
This is our Boccia group , I would like to show you photos from the game but unfortunately it seems that the whole team was red carded and went straight off to lunch . I do feel that this was done on purpose just to get at the food and bypass the effort before hand . Now you Could say that’s very clever to orchestrate an outcome
to your own ends !
It was a bowling session for this crew on a very sporting Wedensday . Always a competitive group this one with some very fancy footwork , notably from Sam.
Our group of gardeners received some additional help in their efforts with the lovely Sarah joining the group .
As usual everyone warmed to the tasks at hand on this beautiful day and we will patiently wait to see the results . Well done everyone.
